Find your hours back tasks

Lesson 2 of 10 in Small Business AI Foundations

The one idea

Do not start by asking, "What can AI do?" Start by asking, "Where does my business lose time every week?"

Good first AI tasks happen often, have a clear input and output, and are easy for you to check. Customer questions, social posts, product descriptions, follow-ups, messy notes, and staff checklists are usually good places to start.

Bad first tasks carry real harm if they go wrong: tax decisions, legal advice, hiring and firing, payment approvals, bank-detail changes, or private customer information.

Try it now

List five repeated tasks in your business. Mark each one low, medium, or high risk. Choose the safest first task.

Your win today

Pick three tasks where AI can save time this week without risking money, privacy, or trust.

Turn the idea into a reflex

Members practice this against a real AI assistant, get feedback on the prompt, then review it before the idea fades.
