The one idea
Your first app should pass three filters:
- Small — one job, one user type, one workflow
- Useful — you or your team would actually open it weekly
- Safe — no payroll, medical records, or live payments on day one
Good first apps: team lunch poll, client onboarding checklist, internal FAQ, shift handover log. Bad first apps: full accounting system, public marketplace, anything holding ID numbers on day one.
